Welcome to Dhayalan Group (OMC)
My research focus is on “Total Synthesis of Natural Products and Active Drug Molecules” using organo-/metal-catalysts for the application of biomedical treatments and agriculture. In this line of research, small ligand and substrate libraries bearing substituents that could be systematically varied e.g. steric and electronic perturbations were created and studied for the construction of mathematical models. Using these models, it was possible to predict substituents on the optimal catalyst for certain asymmetric reactions, Regio- and chemo selective reactions.
